SPECIALTY CARE SERVICES:

Physician Visits

Wolf Run Village does not retain a specific physician to care for its residents. We believe that a person has the right to choose a doctor with which they feel comfortable or one that they have a long or successful history with. A residents’ personal physician may visit at any time.

Occupational and Physical Therapy

While Wolf Run Village is concerned with the active senior, we understand that some residents may require occupational or physical therapy. These services, while not offered by Wolf Run Village, can be employed at a physician’s discretion. At that point, an outside service can be called in to facilitate treatment.  Compass Home Health is one such agency that provides therapy and nursing services with an on-site therapy room.

Supervised Medication Distribution

We understand that, although most of our residents are active seniors, the daily taking of specific medication is sometimes forgotten. The LPNs at Wolf Run Village will ensure that everyone who needs to have medication will be provided the necessary dosage each day.

AI Technology

Wolf Run Village and Visiting Angels have partnered to provide AI technology in resident rooms to monitor for events like falls, difficulty with ADLs, health decline and overall wellbeing.  High level alerts are sent to the direct care staff to check on the resident for things like fall detection and the word “help”.

WanderGuard® Departure Alert System

In addition to our caring personnel, Wolf Run Village employs the WanderGuard® Departure Alert System to monitor our residents. In the event that a resident who is wearing one of the WanderGuard® electronic bracelets accidentally goes through a monitored entrance, an alert will sound and the resident can be guided back to the facility by one of our staff members.
